Ultra light tramping pack.

This is our lightest model at 620 grams. It can carry enough

lightweight gear for up to ten days.
* Two pockets one of which can be used for a drink bottle.
* Waist belt.
* Includes short sleeping mat, which is also your pack frame.

These are the packs that my wife and I use on our journeys.

Bushcrasher.
The same style but in a heavier fabric -weighs 710grams.

This pack has a thicker fabric and some people feel more comfortable with this model when it comes to tramping in dense bush off tracks.

Sleeping Bags.

Most of the bags we use weigh around 1kg. We tend to favour synthetic on most of our trips and in summer, we take the Micro2000 on most trips.

However when it is a little cooler we take the RAB sleeping bags. At 650 grams and very warm they are hard to beat.

Domex bags.

The Micro 2000

This is a good synthetic bag esp in summer. It can be unzipped and used as a quilt on hot nights. A little cool in winter but two can be zipped together if left and right bags are purchased.

It weighs 850 grams. Comfort zone 5 to 15 degrees. Cost $149

Micro 3000

This is a heavier bag at 1.2kg. However it has double layer of insulation on top making it a warmer bag. with a comfort zone 0 to 5 degrees.

RAB Sleeping bags

These sleeping bags are made in England and combine the ultralight material with top quality down. The result is a very light sleeping bag which is warm.

I am selling two bags .

The topbag, this weights 550 grams and has 200 grams of high quality down. There is no down in the bottom as you use your sleeping mat for warmth. $399

The other is the Quantum 250 this weighs 650 grams has down all round and a half zip. $450 Said to be warm at 0 degrees c .

We used these bags on Stewart Island and roasted . I feel they would be fine in NZ most of the year.

Both bags have 750 + down.

High quality down and very light material make these bags cutting edge.

Trangia cooking

Trangia mess tin

Cooking.
For the solo tramper the Trangia mess tin with handle is the only thing to carry. I don't know what they designed it to do but I have used one as a combined Billy and plate for years. Even when two of us go away we still bring one. I have even taken the handle off and used it as a cake tin to bake a small loaf.

Vargo Titanium

Vargo Titanium stove.

This little stove works on meths or solid fuel tablets. At 28 grams it has to be the lightest little stove ever.

It runs on meths on the way shown and turned upside down works as a solid fuel stove.

This stove solves the problem for Ultralight trampers who wish to go where they can't light a fire.

No 28 grams is not a mistake.

Titanium tent pegs. Ultralight, a packet of six pegs weights 30 grams. $28

While this appears a lot to pay for tent pegs the weight savings is always worthwhile.

Titanium Spork

At around 14 grams this is even lighter than Lexan. I thought that having a titanium spork might be a bit indulgent until my plastic spoon fell in half on a recent trip. The first customer to recieve one of these was myself as I don't wish to be eating dehi stew with my hands.

The ones I have are in a cool metallic redish purple colour.
